Striking 1889 geological map of Kent by Ordnance Survey, showing The Isle of Sheppey over towards Whitstable, Margate, Sandwich, Deal and Dover.
Jacques Nicolas Bellin's important and early map of Australia is the finest 18th Century depiction of the continent before explorations by European explorers such as Captain James Cook, despite the imaginary nature of the South and East coastline.
