This time last weekend, we participated in the Annual London Map Fair at The Royal Geographical Society. We had a beautiful weekend showcasing some of the greatest cities  in history and with this landmark World map by Aaron Arrowsmith as our centrepiece..
This stunning map is dated circa 1804. As well as the map being a thing of beauty with its fine original hand colouring and on impressive scale, it is also a thing of curiosity – raising a great deal of questions. I wonder if you can spot the differences on this map… (certainly a future Map of the Month, keep your eyes peeled on this blog!).
